About me

I'm Borbala Nagy, a senior strategic communications advisor passionate about helping tech-driven businesses grow.  

Through Verdin Advisory, I work directly with founders and leadership teams to shape strong narratives, clarify messaging, and build data-driven communications strategies that support your business objectives. I also take on fractional communications leadership roles, acting as a senior extension of your team when you need experience and structure without a long-term commitment.  

I partner with tech-driven, high-energy brands across sectors and my goal is simple: to help them protect and grow their reputation while building trust with the audiences that matter to them the most. 

My background 

I’ve led communications & PR for startups, scale-ups, and global brands across Europe and North America, with a strong focus on  automotive and sports tech. 

Before founding Verdin Advisory in 2023, I held senior communications roles at Ford Motor Company in Europe, as well as leading global communications for Ford’s e-scooter startup Spin Mobility through critical growth and transition phases. Earlier in my career, I worked at Brunswick Group and Stockwell Group (now Teneo), focusing on financial communications and creating research-led communications strategies.

I combine hands-on experience with academic rigour, holding a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Communications and applying behavioural science to drive persuasive communications.
